Youth Tournament to Award Trophies

Is there a budding Tiger Woods lurking on the golf courses and practice ranges in DeSoto County? If there is, then there will be an excellent venue for him or her to appear on Friday when the first ever Southhaven Kids Golf Tournament will be held at Southhaven Golf Center. The even is free and open to the public and golf trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group

We are really excited about this event, which is free to our young people in the county,” said David Dixon, PGA golf instructor at the Southaven Golf Center

Dixon also said that it would be a great opportunity for young people to have fun in a golf tournament with a chance to win a trophy.
